This Privacy Policy explains how MASAR ("MASAR", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the MASAR mobile application and the website at masar.ltd (together, the "Services"). MASAR is available to riders across MENA and Turkey — Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and the six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
When you activate SOS, we transmit your real-time location, an alert to nearby MASAR riders, a live location link, and the option for one-tap voice coordination. SOS location data is broadcast for the duration of the emergency and retained in an audit log for safety review.
We share information only in the following cases:

Location tracking is required for ride telemetry, party rides, shop discovery, and SOS. You can disable background location at any time through your device settings; doing so will limit or disable those features. You control whether your ride history is public, visible to friends, or private.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email emailsupport@masar.ltd.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your account credentials.
MASAR is not intended for users under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including data centers located outside Egypt or the GCC. We use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
