Terms of Service

Last updated: December 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MASAR mobile application and website at masar.ltd (together, the "Services"), operated by MASAR ("MASAR", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use MASAR. If you use the ride-tracking features while riding, you must hold a valid motorcycle licence for your jurisdiction.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for all activity under your account.
  • Keep your credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use MASAR while riding in a way that distracts you or endangers others.
  • Violate traffic laws or local regulations while using ride tracking or navigation.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate other riders.
  • Post false or misleading shop listings, reviews, or event information.
  • Misuse SOS by triggering false emergencies; abuse may result in permanent bans.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Services.

4. SOS — safety notice

MASAR SOS is a community-driven alerting feature. It notifies nearby MASAR riders, shares your live location, and displays nearby hospitals ranked by distance. SOS is not a substitute for calling official emergency services. For life-threatening emergencies you should always contact your local emergency number first. MASAR does not dispatch professional emergency responders and does not guarantee that a nearby rider will respond.

5. Ride tracking & group rides

  • Ride telemetry is provided for informational purposes; accuracy depends on your device GPS.
  • You are solely responsible for your own safety, the safety of your passengers, and compliance with the law.
  • When you create a group ride, you are responsible for the ride plan you publish and the conduct of your invited riders.

6. Shops & third-party listings

Shop listings on MASAR are provided for convenience. While we vet listed shops, we do not warrant the quality of their goods or services, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a shop. Any dispute is between you and the shop.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post (ride data, photos, chat, reviews). By posting content on MASAR you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

8. Intellectual property

The MASAR name, logo, app, and website are owned by MASAR and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to MASAR if you violate these Terms, misuse SOS, or engage in behavior that harms other riders or the platform. You may stop using MASAR at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MASAR disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MASAR and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid MASAR in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD 50.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless local mandatory law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Contact
